The teacher asks the students to go on reporting their homework: Report some information they searched about The Sound of Music. 4. The teacher plays the flash of the classic song of The Sound of Music, Edelweiss to lead the passage of 1a. The teacher lets the students finish pre-reading work: Ask the students to look at the picture and guess what the text is about. 5. The teacher lets the students read the words in the box of 1a and guess the main idea of the text. 6. The teacher asks the students to skim 1a and check the pre-reading work.
