Yes, there is. Turn right, then go straight down Bridge Street. The post office is on the left. It’s across from the restaurant, next to the supermarket.       1. Ask the students to name the places shown in the pictures.       2. Guide students to say the pairs of description words and read them one by one.       3.Check the answers.  4. Work in pairs. Start by reading the sample conversation, then take turns asking your partner about where he or she lives.       StepⅢ 2a   2b      1.Play the recording twice. The first time students only listen. The second time circle the places they hear.  2. Then check the answers of 2a.  3. Play the same recording twice. Students listen and draw a map. 4.Check the answers by asking different students to show their completed maps to the class. StepⅣ  2c       1. Get the students to do the activity in pairs.       2. Have several pairs to say their conversations to the class.  StepⅤ 3a        Read it to the class. Then let the students work individually and circle the description words.       Check the answers by asking one or two students to read it to the class. StepⅦStepⅥ 3b 4a       1. Look at the picture and fill in the blanks for this tour guide.       2. Check the answers       3. Write a tour guide for your neighborhood. You may use the paragraphs in 3a and 3b as a model. StepⅦ 4b         1. Work in pairs. Tell your partner about where you live. Your partner listens and draws a picture of where you live.        2. Ask several students to share their drawings to the class. StepⅧ Self check 1 and2        1.Ask students to check all the words they know.        2.Write five new words in their Vocab-Buider. StepⅨ 3  just for fun!       1. Read it to the class.       2. Point to the route map on the right bottom. Let the students read once more and draw the route from the airport to Mike’s house.       3. Invite a pair of students to read the story to the class.  StepⅩ summary          Summary the target language we’ve learned in this section. StepⅪ  Homework         Write at least five sentences.
